Gela hats

The milliner, herself a passionate hat lover since her earliest youth, has been producing completely individual creations under the Gela Hats label since 2004: the customer chooses a model from the extensive collection and can select the fabric and also the decoration such as the hatband or ornamentation. Cap, beanie, hat? Or should it be a fascinator for a festive party? Everything is made according to the customer's wishes - to match their favorite item of clothing.

The hat is made using traditional manufacturing methods as a shaped hat or according to a cut, which is of course designed and constructed by Angela Wandelt herself. Traditional techniques are reinterpreted. She also attaches great importance to the quality of the material: wool, silk, cotton.

The studio with showroom in the spinning mill invites you to take a tour - and if you would like to gain a deeper insight into the manufactory, you can also take a guided tour with explanations of the manufacturing processes.
