New life in an old wine bar - Horns Erben in Leipzig's Südvorstadt district is a permanent fixture on the city's cultural scene.
In 1923, Wilhelm Horn founded his spirits company, the old sparkling wine cellar in Arndtstraße. "Horns Weinstube" was the flagship of a total of 46 branches. At the end of 2004, four students discovered the historic premises and breathed new life into them. Initially it was a "living room for friends", today Horns Erben is a sought-after stage for concerts, readings and theater performances.

Sundays at "Horns" are reserved for the crime scene. Here you can watch the German crime classic on the big screen in pleasant company. Horns Erben is run on a voluntary basis and offers you not only culture but also freshly cooked food every evening.
