The organ by master organ builder Kreutzbach has been played in the church in Großlehna since 1843.
The history of the small church in Großlehna goes back a long way: even before 1190 - the Altranstädt monastery farm was just being built - there was a church on the present site. Großlehna was first mentioned in a document in 1224. Over the centuries, there were many conversions and renovations. In 1769, the first organ was purchased from Kötzschau and installed. The current organ was installed by Urban Kreutzbach, the master organ builder from Borna, in 1843.
