Lapidarium Torgau

The Lapidarium is located in the oldest part of Hartenfels Castle in Torgau in the Lower Court Room, with its unique medieval building fabric. In the impressive vaulted cellar beneath the castle church, visitors can experience an interesting excursion into the architectural history of the castle. The Lapidarium (Latin for stone collection) has "stone witnesses" that tell the story of the castle.
