Plagwitz district park

Park/garden
Playground
The Plagwitz district park is a green gem directly on the Karl Heine Canal. With its playground and giant slide, it is particularly popular with families.
A small patch of green between industrial charm and the Karl Heine Canal; that's the Plagwitz district park. Here you can relax on the meadows between the trees or take the children to the playground to climb or play table tennis.
The absolute highlight is the giant slide, which ends right on the banks of the canal. Here, children and adults can slide endlessly.

From the Plagwitz district park, you can get directly to the barrier-free boat landing stage on the Karl Heine Canal. There, a bridge over the canal connects the park with Karl-Heine-Straße with its many hip stores and restaurants.
