RasenBallsport Leipzig GmbH & e.V. is a club whose first men's team is in the German Bundesliga and plays home matches in the Red Bull Arena.
The football club RasenBallsport Leipzig GmbH & e.V. was founded in 2009 and has been competing in the Bundesliga, the highest German league, since the 2016/2017 season. The club known as RB Leipzig plays home games in the 42,959-seat Red Bull Arena Leipzig at the Sportforum. It also has a modern training centre on Cottaweg, where all the teams from U15 (under 15) to the first men's team train daily. After advancing in 2010, 2013, 2014 and 2016, RB Leipzig is now in the Bundesliga and will, starting in the 2017/2018, compete in the Champions League, the highest European football competition for club teams, for the first time. The city, which is enthusiastic about sports, looks forward to hosting many football events in Leipzig in coming years and encourages fans, sympathizers and other interested parties to support the Leipzig players in the stadium.
