Schreberbad
The Schreberbad was opened back in 1866, making it the oldest swimming facility still in use in Leipzig.
The Schreberbad got its name from the adjacent allotment gardens, which are considered to be the oldest in the whole of Germany.
With a total water surface area of 610 m², the swimming pool offers great swimming fun for water fans of all ages. The outdoor pool is located in the west of Leipzig not far from the city center and, in addition to the leisure pool, has a 25-meter lane and a non-swimmer's pool as well as a paddling pool for little swimming fans. Thanks to a playground and the opportunity to play table tennis, basketball and volleyball, there's never a dull moment here. There is plenty of space on the large sunbathing lawn to enjoy the sun and relax.

- The Schreberbad will be on winter break from September 10, 2025 to May 15, 2026.
In the event of persistently bad weather and thunderstorms, the Schreberbad will remain closed. Admission closes 45 minutes before closing time. You must leave the water 15 minutes before closing time. Price info
