The Mulde-Elbe cycle route connects the two long-distance cycle paths Mulde Cycle Route and the Elbe Cycle Route.

The cycle route leads from Wermsdorf to Oschatz. It can also be ridden as a circular route in combination with the Döllnitz Valley cycle route.

The route runs through the Wermsdorf Forest. Numerous ponds, extensive meadows, and fields characterize the flat landscape. The only notable elevation is the 313-meter-high Collmberg.
