The Leipziger Straße car park is a good starting point. It is right next to the Mulde Bridge and very close to the old town. If necessary, you can park your car here all day. You can use the lower part of the car park, which allows free parking all day. The rest area in the natural log house offers lockable bike boxes and an inviting shelter or rest area for a small hiking group. This is where the national cycle paths meet.
The Torgische Weg towards Torgau begins here and the hiker follows it through the town of Bad Düben. The view is captured by the church tower of St. Nikolai. The tower, which stands high above the roofs of the town, is also a good orientation point that can be seen far into the landscape. After the church, the path turns into Gartenstrasse. Once you reach the supermarket area, the Waldhofweg path markings become visible.
You leave the town on the newly built path between the fields and soon reach the rest area "An den Lehmkeiten", a small wetland biotope. The view can sweep far over the fields and in summer the song of the larks accompanies the hiker. The path now leads along the edge of the Tiglitzer Forest to the fallow land of the Waldhof. The signposts branch off from the Torgischer Weg here and follow the field path that is lushly lined with herbs and wild flowers on both sides. Now the church tower of St. Nikolai appears again, which you walk towards at the next fork in the road and thus reach the B 183. You cross this and continue walking along the garden and weekend properties. Shortly afterwards you reach the bridge over the Schwarzbach and the markings point the way towards the town.
Between fields and lush greenery, the striking, high part of the Remmers company building becomes visible and the "South-East" industrial estate is reached. The path leads over the tracks of the "Heidebahn" towards the town. Turning off the road, a wide path between fields and gardens takes you to the "Am Schwarzbach" allotment gardens. Hikers cross the Schwarzbach for the second time on this hike over a wooden bridge. The "Imperial Post Office" marks the beginning of the lovingly renovated old town. With a view of the town hall tower, the path leads across the parade ground to the market. The lovingly renovated town houses, the cafes and restaurants with comfortable outdoor seating invite you to stop for a break. On the hour, a glance up at the town hall clock is surprising. When the bell strikes, two little billy goats run against each other. After a few steps, you reach the starting point of the hike again.
