Experience Leipzig's impressive waterways on a motorboat tour from Leipzig City Harbour! Here you can discover the fascinating industrial heritage of Leipzig's west or glide through the idyllic floodplain forest. The motorboats, named after famous Leipzig musicians such as Clara and Robert Schumann or Johann Sebastian Bach, create a special atmosphere. In winter, you can even enjoy cosy mulled wine cruises on the canals. Leipzig’s waterways invite you to discover the city by boat – whether by canoe, kayak or dragon boat. The industrial heritage of Leipzig’s west is particularly impressive, but the idyllic greenery of the floodplain forest can also be wonderfully explored from the water. Stadthafen Leipzig is a key provider here, with a total of 6 locations, including the city harbour itself, the Scheibenholz boat rental and the Cospudener Combüse directly on Lake Cospuden.
One highlight: the “worry-free package”, where you can paddle from the city harbour to Lake Cospuden, drop off the boat at the Combüse and don’t have to worry about transport back.

Other providers such as the Boat Rental at Leipzig Wildlife Park, Klingerweg Boat Rental and Herold Boat Rental also offer a wide range of options for your trip on the water.

Using water pressure, you fly above the surface of the water with the VINETA-Fly jetpack and flyboard: 100 litres of water per second are pumped through a hose and expelled through two water nozzles in the jetpack or flyboard.
