Leipzig Service Providers in Exchange
The Tourism Breakfast is the largest series of events and, with over 200 discussion forums, also the oldest. Between 150 and 300 multipliers and opinion leaders regularly exchange ideas on the topic of tourism in Leipzig and the region.
Development
The first Tourism Breakfast was held in the Moritzbastei in April 1996. Since then, the Tourism Breakfast has developed from an informal discussion platform into a thematically well-defined, moderated event featuring panel and audience discussions.
Goals
- Communication platform for regular exchange on tourism-related topics
- Increasing transparency through short and direct communication channels
- Involving service providers in decision-making processes
- Using the insights gained for tourism marketing
Leipzig Tourism Award
Since 2002, the Leipzig Tourism Award has been presented annually to a company and to an individual who have made an outstanding contribution to tourism in Leipzig.
