Diving at RIFF Bad Lausick - Suddenly a mermaid
For underwater princesses, the swimming school swimolino at RIFF Bad Lausick fairy tale dreams come true. With a colorful glittering mermaid fin, the young and old mermaids glide through the water and learn the appropriate diving technique to explore the underwater world. In the mermaiding workshop, the transformation into a mermaid is complete: self-made hair jewellery and a dreamy make-up to match your tail fin will turn you into a real mermaid that will make even Ariel jealous. Your transformation must of course be captured - in an underwater photo shoot. The courses can also be booked for children's birthdays or hen parties.
Little mermaids should be at least 6 years old and be able to swim safely. P.S.: Young and old water sprites are of course also very welcome!

Lake Schladitz - diving "without air"
You can experience the history of Lake Schladitz up close under water: At depths of up to 25 m, you can marvel at dense underwater forests, fish and car wrecks as well as old lorries from the lignite mining era. A visibility range of up to 8 m guarantees unique experiences. At the ALL-on-SEA Sport Resort, you can also explore this world as a beginner with a snorkel or discover the shallow waters of Schladitz Bay on a snorkelling course before you really get going. Children from the age of eight can experience their very own underwater adventure in the shallow water area. Search and rescue underwater (more fun than in the indoor pool, I promise!), deep diving or learning how to orient yourself in the lake - all this is available in various further training courses.
The secret of free diving is your thoughts. When apnoea diving (i.e. "without air"), the rhythm of your heartbeat, your breath and your whole body becomes one with the movements of the waves around you. You underwater - it suddenly feels so easy, so right. In the apnoea diving courses, you can experience this very special feeling for yourself and learn this special breathing technique alongside some theory.

Diving in Lake Zwenkau - Discover the Titanic of Leipzig
Calling all light sailors, watch out now! The absolute jewel of the diving center at Lake Zwenkau lies deep on its bottom: the shipwreck MS Reini was sunk by the diving center for better diver training at a depth of 18 m. Faint light gives you a glimpse of the outline of the wreck as you dive deeper and deeper. Wisps of mist wrap around the rusty ship's walls like a second skin and you could swear: Leo and Kate at sunset on the MS Reini - that would have been great cinema.
Taster opportunities and courses of various levels (also in English) are also on the agenda here. If you've been wondering how best to post your new favorite hobby on your social media channels or just want to capture those magical moments underwater, Lake Zwenkau is the place for you. Lake Cospuden - dive through fascinating underwater forests
At Cossi, the landing entrance is located directly at the diving meadow just a few meters from the base of the Lutz Kamski diving school. Experienced divers start their underwater safari from the boat in the large or in the small forest. Pssst! The chance of seeing larger fish up close is particularly good here - who wants to pet dolphins? Between 10 and 20 m deep, you'll come across everything that's worth seeing: Old bicycles, sunken pedal boats or even the occasional forklift truck. If you're not quite ready yet, you can try out the pool or the shallow water for 30 minutes. From complete beginners to experienced pros, there is just the right course for everyone. For that extra touch of class, there are various advanced courses such as deep diving, underwater photography or shark diving, where you can talk about sharks in peace and quiet.

Diving in Lake Kulkwitz - The number 1 for clear visibility
The Kulki scores points above all for its very clear underwater visibility - perfect for paying a little visit to catfish, perch and pike at depths of up to 32 m.
The diving specialist store Delphin can be found on the Lausen side of the Kulki. From May to September, you can get a taste of diving on weekly dates: you will receive a short briefing, dive briefly either in the swimming pool or directly in the Kulki and evaluate your dive together with the diving instructor. After a maximum of one hour, the fun is already over. If you are now ready to leave the waters of your bathtub at home and dive into the real world, a beginner's course is perfect for you. After theory and practice in the pool and in the Kulki, you can try your hand at advanced and special courses, for example orientation or ice diving.

The second entry point at Kulki is on the south bank near Göhrenz at the Tauchschule Florian. If scuba diving is not really your thing, but you still don't want to miss out on the wonderful underwater world, you can take a snorkeling course in the swimming pool here. You will find courses from beginner to professional level as well as further training and special vacation preparations such as boat, night or deep diving. Why not just dive in?
Do you associate diving mainly with your old sports teacher, who you had to retrieve those stupid, colorful rings from the bottom of the indoor pool over and over again? Until now! Diving has become a real trend sport in recent years. Do you want unique nature experiences, but also want to switch off from everyday life and enjoy peace and quiet? Of course, you don't want it to be boring either, a little adrenaline rush would be something? Then read on from now on with diving goggles - for the feeling.
The Leipziger Neuseenland is a little nerd and can boast good water quality in the lakes. The Kulki and Cossi even have an "excellent" rating on their certificates as EU bathing waters (including Fleißbienchen stickers, of course) - perfect conditions for your diving trip! Speaking of which, a quick heads up: to attend the diving courses in Leipzig, you usually have to be at least 12 years old and need a medical certificate of fitness. By the way, a warning light is flashing bright red here: you should only attempt entry at the designated points.
By the way: it's also worth discovering Leipzig's lakes from the land! So, get out of your wetsuit and into your swimsuit or hop on your bike and discover Lake Kulkwitz, Lake Cospuden, Lake Schladitz or Lake Zwenkau from a different perspective!
