Hayna ice cream factory on Lake Schladitz

The ice cream manufactory offers over 20 constantly changing ice cream flavors from its own production as well as coffee and cake, with the best view of Lake Schladitz.

Eismanufaktur Hayna took its first steps in 2012 with a small mobile ice cream bike, which stood on Lake Schladitz at weekends with ice cream from wholesalers and provided sweaty visitors with cold scoops on hot days. Since 2018, the ice cream has been made in-house with the best ingredients in a small ice cream kitchen. Since then, freezers, blast chillers and pasteurizers have been working non-stop to produce what is probably the creamiest, tastiest and most individual ice cream in the region.

Since 2020, there has been a fixed location on the Biedermeier beach with over twenty constantly changing ice cream flavours in the freezer and a large outdoor terrace with seating and the best view of Lake Schladitz. In summer, various ice cream sundaes - named after Biedermeier personalities - as well as coffee or hot chocolate, a changing selection of cakes and cold drinks are on offer, and in the colder months you can also enjoy waffles and mulled wine.
