Ballendorf windmill
The Ballendorf windmill was built in 1684. 150 years later, in 1834, it was overturned by a thunderstorm and rebuilt in 1835. Until 1953, the mill was operated by wind power and later, until 1973, by electricity. The original mill equipment is still preserved and fully functional today.

By car: Follow the B2, take the A72 and B176 to Bad Lausick. The destination is on the B176 just before the road to Linde.
