The Canitz Nature and History Park is located on the banks of the Mulde - an attractive rest area close to the Mulde cycle path. Experience nature in harmony with our history. Discover the everyday life of our ancestors from the Stone Age to the slave era.
Learn interesting facts about the habitats of insects from butterflies to bees in the nature gardens. At different times of the year, the themed gardens (including the fragrance, herb, organic and rose gardens) are always inviting.
A museum facility in the center of the "Canitz Park" contains exhibitions on the history of settlement in the Mulde-Parthe area, forest and nature conservation in the middle Mulde area, drinking water protection and drinking water extraction. There is also an exhibition by the Nature Conservation Association.
The use of the entire park in Canitz is ideal for children's birthday parties, family and company celebrations as well as seminars.
