The meeting place documents the life of the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg with a permanent exhibition about his work in Leipzig.
The former publishing house at Talstraße 10 often served as Edvard Grieg's home during his stays in Leipzig.

After extensive restoration work, the music salon now houses a permanent exhibition on the life and work of the Norwegian national composer. Concerts are held there again today, where Grieg once played samples of his new works for his publisher.
