Handelshof (Grimmaische Straße)

Short facts

  • Leipzig
  • Pedestrian zone, Retail,…

The Handelshof connects Naschmarkt and Reichsstraße and today houses the Steigenberger Grandhotel.

Completed in 1909, the Handelshof was the second exhibition building to be erected by the city of Leipzig after the Städtisches Kaufhaus. Since the completion of renovation work in 2011, the arcade also radiates renewed splendour. It connects the Naschmarkt with the Reichsstraße and is therefore located in the immediate vicinity of the Old Town Hall.

Today, the building houses the Steigenberger Grandhotel and on the ground floor, exclusive retail shops provide an inviting shopping experience.
