On a guided tour of the cellar, you can delve into Waldheim's underground. The cellars were created from the mining of serpentinite, which was used as a building material and for everyday and artistic objects such as desk sets, bowls, etc. A labyrinth of tunnels with a total length of over 800 m was created. These cavities were used to store food due to the temperature behavior of the rock (in summer - cooling, in winter - heat storage) and also served as protection against danger.
