Little Joachimsthal (Hainstraße / Kleine Fleischergasse)
The narrow commercial building Kleines Joachimsthal is connected to the house at Kleine Fleischergasse 8 and was one of the headquarters for Leipzig's cloth merchants. The building was extensively destroyed during the Second World War and was only restored in 1996 and 1997 and extended with a modern new building.
The façade of the building is made of sandstone and has large windows. The impressive appearance is topped by the three-storey bay window and a segmental arched gable.Good to know
