Louise-Otto-Peters-Platz playground

Playground
As part of Leipzig's "Central Park", the Louisenspielplatz is a magnet for families with a wide range of play options.

The playground offers a variety of areas, each equipped with different play options. For younger visitors, there is a spacious sandpit with a charming playhouse, accompanied by a nest swing, the iconic elephant slide and a fast-paced mini-carousel.

For older children, there is a daring climbing frame called "Gräserland" with a slide bar, which can be conquered from the age of around four. In addition, various balance challenges such as the slackline not only delight young visitors but also adults.

Despite its size, the Louisenspielplatz is pleasantly uncluttered and only rarely crowded and also very shady, making it an ideal place for exuberant play. From there, we recommend a short trip to the zoo showcase or, if you want to explore the Rose Valley a little more, to the wobble tower.

Our age recommendation:0-10 years
