The sandstone facades in neo-baroque style take you back to the glorious times of Leipzig's fur trade.

The stately fur trade building was built in 1907/1908 by the Leipzig architect Max Pommer and impresses with its two four-storey sandstone facades in neo-baroque style as well as the artistically forged gates in Nikolaistrasse and Ritterstrasse.

After three years of renovation in accordance with the preservation order, the farm was inaugurated in 2015 with numerous new business and residential spaces. Golden columns and writings, natural stone floors and wall paintings show the history of Oelßners Hof.
