Owl organ in the church of Nepperwitz

Typical for an instrument of this period, the action and stop action are pneumatic and the pipes are mounted on pocket chests. Due to the small size of the organ, the pneumatic action works almost without delay. The specification and voicing are typical of a village organ of this size. One of the organ's impressive features is its warm principal.

The first repair was carried out in 1998/1999 by Georg Wünning from Großolbersdorf. A renovation, which was urgently needed after 30 years, was made possible by a fundraising campaign by the Nepperwitz local history association, in which the entire village donated to the preservation and renovation of the organ. In the summer of 2019, the organ was then rededicated after the renovation, which was once again carried out by Georg Wünning.
