Protestant Church Wermsdorf
The older part of the church is a Romanesque structure with a semi-circular vaulted apse at the right-angled chancel. The Gothic conversion took place before the great church fire in 1557, after which the church building was rebuilt and reconstructed several times in keeping with the spirit of the times and the devastation caused by the events of the time. During the Thirty Years' War, the parish church was repeatedly plundered and devastated. In 1696, the church was given a baroque tower above the choir.
