Experience the 1,000-year history of Rochlitz Castle and discover numerous gems in the walls of the castle.

Rochlitz Castle watches over the town of the same name with pride, mystery and a little darkness. Its walls can tell a 1,000-year-old story: of emperors, kings and princes, but also of those who had to care for their welfare.

Discover numerous treasures on an exploratory tour through the venerable halls: the imposing cross vaults of the chapel, the black kitchen with its huge stove and functional chimney, the enormous towers in which dungeons and torture chamber are hidden and last but not least the splendidly restored Princely House.
