This section of the Elbe Cycle Route starts in Elster (Elbe). The route first leads via Prettin and Großtreben-Zwethau towards Torgau. Those who want to make a short stop here must cross the Elbe bridge. Passing Belgern, Mühlberg/Elbe and Strehla, you finally reach Riesa.

Those who want to arrive by car can reach Elbe-Elster best via the A13 Berlin-Dresden motorway with the exits Duben, Calau, Bronkow, Großräschen, Klettwitz, Ruhland and Ortrand. Then continue via federal roads to the desired place of excursion.
