In the Leipzig Neuseenland, you can enjoy wonderful hiking and experience a lot. Beautiful circular routes also await in the town of Delitzsch.

In the historic old town, you stroll through small alleys and narrow streets. The Middle Ages become truly tangible when you walk along the impressive town wall with its water-filled moat. The magnificent Baroque castle with its beautifully designed Baroque garden is a must for all knights and castle maidens, as it houses a museum and allows a climb up the tower, for which you will be rewarded with a 360° panoramic view over the town. Afterwards, you can really let off steam at the playground at the castle. At the zoo, aspiring zoo directors and animal keepers will get their money’s worth: many exotic and native animal species live here. If you have discovered them all, you have had a truly exciting day in the Leipzig region!
