The hiking trail is dedicated to Ulrike von Levetzow, who was baptized in the former Löbnitz-Bennewitz manor. She was perhaps the last love interest of the German poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

Directions
The hiking trail starts at the Groitzsch town tower near the market square. Passing the Frauenkirche, it also touches the ruins of the Wiprechtsburg. As the castle of Count Wiprecht von Groitzsch, it was of great historical importance and is considered the oldest stone building in Saxony. Next, the trail enters the "Pfarrholz" nature reserve, a species-rich floodplain forest area through which the Schwennigke flows. It continues past the villages of Altengroitzsch and Saasdorf via Gatzen to Löbnitz-Bennewitz. The tour ends here at the former manor, the place where Ulrike von Levetzow was baptized. This route is approximately 6,5 km long.
