Gewandhaus Orchestra
In addition to the Gewandhaus zu Leipzig, the Leipzig Opera and the famous St. Thomas Boys' Choir are further venues for the Gewandhaus Orchestra. The orchestra is known for its outstanding musical quality, renowned conductors and numerous tours and guest performances all over the world.
The Gewandhaus Orchestra is one of the leading symphony orchestras internationally and is also the oldest civic orchestra in the German-speaking world.
