Hansa Haus (Grimmaische Straße)

Short facts

The Hansa Haus is characterised by a modern façade design and the glass-covered courtyard.

The Hansa Haus, completed in 1906, was destroyed in World War II and then rebuilt in a simpler form. In the 1990s, a completely new building with a modern façade design was erected.

The impressive, glassed-in courtyard with Art Nouveau elements, which was reconstructed true to the original, is unique in Leipzig. Here you will find a Chinese-style spouting bowl filled with water, letting you create extraordinary sounds.
