The Katharina Luther Room contains the only exhibition dedicated to the reformer's wife in the house where she died.

The pretty Renaissance house became Katharina Luther's sickbed and death house in 1552 after she suffered a tragic accident while fleeing the plague in Wittenberg, just outside Torgau, from which she never recovered.
