Kühnitzsch windmill
The current trestle windmill was built in 1812. It is still fully functional today. Visitors can learn about the miller's trade and find out how flour is made from grain. The rotating windmill blades can be seen from afar on the outside, while the comb wheel, millstones, separators and elevators are in motion on the inside - demonstrating the interplay of the grinding steps. Particularly attractive for visitors is the "turning into the wind" of the mill, as it is no longer turned piece by piece with a flock and winch, but a lance pulls the mill in the desired wind direction on the star wheel.

The Bock windmill in Kühnitzsch is a technical monument and is looked after by the Heimat- und Mühlenverein Kühnitzsch/Körlitz e.V. (local history and mill association).
