Pegau Town Museum

The town museum was housed in the town hall on October 6, 1899 by Pastor Conrad Dillner, after it had initially been located in the town school, later in the oat magazine of the Karabiniers and in the superintendent's office. Halfway up to the viewing platform of the town hall tower, visitors enter the museum via the 300-year-old spiral staircase through a creaking iron door. The exhibition "From the lives of the old people of Pegau" is located on the lower floor. It contains testimonies of our ancestors from childhood, school, work, clubs, restaurants and hobbies.
