Tourist information "Rochlitzer Muldental"

The "Rochlitzer Muldental" tourist information office is the office of the "Rochlitzer Muldental" local history and tourism association and is not only the point of contact for the approximately 180 members of the association, but primarily for tourists and locals who have questions about the tourist offers in the association area between Rochlitz, Penig and Burgstädt. Even after more than 30 years of tourism growth in the region, it is still important to continue to bring this economic factor into the public eye with comprehensive measures.

Information:
From April to October, the Porphyry House geoportal at the Gleisberg quarry on Rochlitz Hill serves as a branch of the "Rochlitzer Muldental" tourist information office. On Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., you can find information about the region and interesting facts about the formation, extraction and use of the Rochlitz porphyry tuff.
