The Försterweg owes its name to the traditional forestry that has sustainably influenced the landscape on both sides of the path. From charcoal burning to the most modern forestry tasks, the route offers numerous exciting insights into the work field of foresters from past to present. The hike through shady forests, over bright forest meadows, through heath and moor areas can be managed without special physical effort and offers many variations with its exciting nature experiences over three stages. Small villages and guesthouses along the way repeatedly invite you to stop and rest.
