The cycle path leads along the banks of the Mulde through varied landscapes and past majestic castles and palaces. In addition to the boot town of Döbeln and the Cistercian monastery Kloster Buch, you also pass Mildenstein Castle in Leisnig and the old town of Grimma is also well worth a visit. Due to its hilly terrain, the route is suitable for cyclists in good physical condition.

Directions
The cycle route starts in Döbeln or, for those who want to cycle a little further, in Niederstriegis. From there, the route follows the Freiberger Mulde via Westewitz and Klosterbuch to Leisnig. In Sermuth, which you pass next, the Freiberger and Zwickauer Mulde rivers flow together. From here, the route continues along the Vereinigte Mulde via Großbothen to Grimma.

From Grimma back to Roßwein: Take the RB 110 to Döbeln. Take bus 750 from Döbeln to Roßwein.
