At the entrance of the Zwenkau Oak Woods, starting from the Waldbad parking lot, a new nature trail awaits hiking enthusiasts and nature-loving guests.

Only in spring 2012, as part of the annual Zwenkau spring hike, was the new nature trail opened. A well-maintained forest path about 1.6 km long allows you to explore the beautiful floodplain forest.

Starting from the Waldbad parking lot, 10 panels provide information about typical flora and fauna of the Oak Woods. All users of this interesting forest path are rewarded at the end with a wonderful view of the Zwenkau Lake from the Eythra viewpoint.
