There are many different types of mill to discover north of Leipzig. They range from the dominant trestle windmill to the Paltrock windmill, the Saxon tower windmill, the motor mill, a gable/horse mill, the Dutch windmill, the watermill and the historic ship mill. Events such as school project days, children's birthday parties and German Mill Day, mill tours and expert guided tours of the North Saxony mill region as a day or half-day offer can be requested at any time.
