Dresdner Hof (Neumarkt)
The five-storey building complex was built in 1912 and 1913 according to designs by architect Alfred Stentzler. In the early years, the impressive trade fair palace exhibited goods from the pharmaceutical, chemical and cosmetics industries.
The entrance area from the 1920s in the Art Deco style is something very special for Leipzig. A cabaret stage was later set up here, which has been the venue for the "academixer" cabaret since 1980.
