Kreutzbach organ in the Auenkirche Markkleeberg-Ost

Urban Kreutzbach (1796 - 1868), a pupil of Carl Gottlob Häcker, founded his own workshop in Borna in 1828. His sons and grandson continued to run the company until 1903. Over 200 organs were built during this period. Urban Kreutzbach originally built the organ now in the Auenkirche for St. Martin's Church in Elstertrebnitz. I/11 After the Elstertrebnitz church was abandoned, the organ found its new home in the Auenkirche after a thorough overhaul by the Bochmann company, Kohren-Sahlis, in 1999/2000. Christian Ernst Friederici (1709 - 1780) 1749, I/12 and Alfred Schmeisser (1878 - 1908) had already built a new organ in the same place.
