Palm garden playground

Playground
Including the "clearing in the jungle" playscape invites young and old to play and linger.

The playground, which has been in existence for 70 years, was extensively renovated in 2022 and offers a wide range of exercise and relaxation options for people of all ages. During the redesign, the historic play equipment was restored and preserved as a contemporary document of the equipment used in children's playgrounds during the GDR era. The playground is divided into two areas: a toddler area with an iconic elephant slide and a play area for schoolchildren up to the age of 10. There, children can climb on the historic steel globe and a new airplane of the same design.

On the approximately 850 square meter playground, there is barrier-free access to the semi-circular "stage" at the southern end. There is also a bench for senior citizens, seating walls at the sand playground and seating beams in the play area that invite children to linger. The many adjacent trees also provide shade on sunny summer days.

Our age recommendation: 0-10 years
