In Sanftwut you sit comfortably at the bar and relax with a beer and suddenly: lights out - show on! In the relaxed pub atmosphere, the well-rehearsed team of the cabaret theater will make you laugh. Above all, the closeness to the audience creates a very special atmosphere!
In an extremely stylish ambience, the academixer the jokes will whip around your ears! Founded in 1966 as a student cabaret at Leipzig University, the young ensemble often brings current political topics to the table. And in summer, the open-air area of the Paulaner-Palais even opens for cabaret!
You will find cabaret potential in the Krystallpalast Varieté! The Varieté also amazes with performances of other kinds. Take your breath away with acrobatic stunts or musical masterpieces - or your mind with hypnosis shows...

On the bar stool
Leipzig is colorful and creative, Leipzig is extraordinary and diverse and sometimes a little wild and crazy. To get to know the city's latter qualities better and experience them properly, you should head to the city's luminous cultural miles. Because Leipzig offers you a few wonderful districts to "get away" to, where everything your party-loving heart desires shines out at you!
How about a strolling evening on the Karli? Many may have already heard of the good piece: The Kneipenmeile in the Südvorstadt attracts mainly the colorful student scene with all the pubs on its mile. Of course, everyone is welcomed here with open arms and a cold beer!
For the very hip among you, you should head to Karl-Heine-Straße : It is the alternative Wild West of the city and attracts visitors with its relaxed atmosphere and vegan food. You'll find the coolest bar here at Noch Besser Leben, where you can enjoy drinks and snacks and where events are held regularly.
And you don't have to walk far to enjoy a delicious cocktail as well as a beer in Leipzig: On both streets there are numerous cool bars that are quite different from boring mainstream. Our favorites: The Killiwilly - an Irish pub on the Karli - and the Stallwache in the Westwerk on Karl-Heine-Straße.
Still not tired after bar hopping? Then immerse yourself in the diverse Leipzig club scene. From charts to rock, hip-hop and electronic to Schlager, there's something for every taste. Cool and varied themed parties take place in the Moritzbastei, for example - right in the only preserved part of Leipzig's city wall. But the popular student clubs ELSTERARTIG and TV-Club and STUK, the Spizz in Leipzig's city center and Herr KAUZIG in the western district of Lindenau promise a fun-filled evening that you won't soon forget - or maybe you will? ;)
With these evening suggestions, we can let you loose on Leipzig and its evening attractions with a clear conscience and wish you lots of fun!
