Owl organ in the Frauenkirche Grimma

Orchestras & Ensembles
The Bautzen organ builder still builds instruments today, and in 1928 he completely rebuilt the Eule organ in Grimma.

Hermann Eule (1846 - 1929) founded the organ building company in Bautzen in 1872, which is still successful today. In 1928, the Eule company completely rebuilt the 25-stop organ built in 1890 by Jehmlich, Dresden, for the Frauenkirche in Grimma. With pneumatic action and pocket chests, the organ is listed as Opus 167 in Eule's production directory. The organ builder defines pocket chests as a special pneumatic windchest system. In 2005, the Oboe 8' stop from the Eule organ in the Maria-und-Martha-Kirche in Bautzen, which is no longer preserved, was added to the swell. II/30 The organ can be heard again and again in an impressive manner in church services and concerts.
