After the royal welcome at BELANTIS Castle, the gateway to the eight imaginative adventure worlds opens up to visitors. With the family roller coaster "Cobra of Amun Ra", you can take a wild ride on the back of the snake through the Valley of the Pharaohs. But there are also roller coasters such as the "Dragon Ride" in the Land of the Knights or the "Santa Maria" on the pirate island "Coast of Explorers" not only provide an exciting tingle in the stomach, but are also suitable for the whole family. With the "Huracanito" roller coaster in the realm of the Temples of the Sun, there is even a roller coaster that is reserved for the very little ones between the ages of three and six. Right next to it you will find our adrenaline wonder "Huracan".
 
In between, there are always new opportunities for kids to prove their courage in adventurous tasks: Whether it's shaking the planks at Capt'n Black's pirate baptism, taking the Indian test on the Path of the Brave or digging for silver nuggets in the Land of the Counts - daredevils will get their money's worth here.

You can reach the amusement park by public transport from Leipzig main station within 30 minutes. The S-Bahn lines 5, 5X and 6 take you to Markkleeberg S-Bahn station at regular intervals. From there, bus line 105 will take you to BELANTIS and back again. Please note the current bus timetable.

Not only Bad Düben is a great place to play golf, but also the Abenteuergolfpark Groitzsch. You can find it in the south of Leipzig. An 18-hole adventure golf course has been created on 2,000 square meters, which is unique of its kind in Central Germany. All holes are covered with artificial turf like real golf and are elaborately modeled.

Adventure golf is a hybrid of minigolf and golf. During the game, you have to overcome obstacles such as hills, dips or terrain transitions. Prove your skill on the courses, which are up to 25 meters long, and your accuracy over streams, through tunnels or even through the spinning water wheel! The really challenging courses feature playable elements that are reminiscent of our region, such as a shoe symbolizing the Schusterviertel, a wagon for the open-cast mining in the area and the Groitzsch water tower as a landmark of Groitzsch.

Your little ones can try to hit one of the many holes on the Kids-Green and everyone else can also practice here to improve their accuracy.

For breaks before, during and after the game, the BIERATERIE with a cozy beer garden right next to the golf park. An extensive range of drinks, snacks and ice creams offers something for everyone. For a carefree arrival and departure, take the bus line 100 to and from Markkleeberg S-Bahn station.

Would you like to get to know the Leipziger Neuseenland from a different perspective and enjoy the summer sun and a refreshing breeze? Then you are cordially invited to take part in one of the many boat trips on the lakes on your next family trip to the Leipzig region. The Personenschifffahrt im Leipziger Neuseenland offers trips on the Markkleeberger and Störmthaler See from April to October. The trips on the passenger ship "MS Wachau" are particularly popular. Your beloved four-legged friends don't have to stay at home. Dry, well-behaved and on a short lead, they are welcome guests on board. A boat trip is therefore the perfect addition to a holiday with dogs in Leipzig and the region. You can embark or disembark at four different landing stages, with a long tour taking 105 minutes.

Are you satisfied with a one-hour tour on Lake Markkleeberg? Then you have the alternative of taking the "MS Markkleeberg", which was newly built in 2014, between the lake promenade and Auenhainer Bucht. At almost 42 meters long and 9 meters wide, it is the larger of the two passenger ships and can accommodate up to 400 people. You can start your mini cruise on the "MS Markkleeberg" several times a day. A highlight for the little ones is the sun deck with a stainless steel slide, where children can play captain themselves on the mounted steering wheels.

On the trail of damsels and knights: The Mildenstein Castle in Leisnig and the Rochlitz Castle in the town of the same name. Both medieval buildings tell of their thousand-year history via interactive and family-friendly exhibitions.

Would you like to prepare bread and cereal dishes in a contemporary way? Then we recommend the tasty experience tour "All about bread" to your heart. Together with the baker's maid, you will discover the historic black kitchens and storerooms and bake your own loaf of bread in the wood-fired oven or make your own grain dish on the stove.

For directions, you can use the Mitteldeutsche Regiobahn, which commutes between Leipzig and Döbeln, and get off directly below the castle at Leisnig station.

Long before humans settled in the Düben Heath, beavers were an important part of the Düben Heath. In the meantime, the furry rodents were thought to be almost extinct, but today, with a bit of luck, you can spot some of them on the Heath Beaver Tour through the Düben Heath. You can get to Bad Düben from Leipzig on the bus route 196 from Leipzig main station; some buses also allow you to take bicycles with you depending on the timetable. Once you arrive in Bad Düben, first visit the NaturparkHaus. Here you can not only borrow beaver adventure rucksacks and bicycle bags, but also visit the exhibition which is well worth a visit. The Nature Park House is also the starting point for the Heath Beaver Tour. The quality hiking trail, which is over 30 kilometers long, can be divided into several sections and offers a beautiful wooded heath landscape as well as a number of interesting points of interest. In the Obermühle, for example, you can visit the Moor Adventure Garden, the Museum Village and the Bat Garden. Or how about a family excursion to the woodburning mill in Eisenhammer? Here you can find out how charcoal is made. Along the tour, you can discover information boards from Beaver Billi Bockert with useful information or spot the animals live at selected observation points.

Speaking of children: they have countless opportunities to let off steam in the O-Schatz-Park, which is a ten-minute walk from the church and offers countless opportunities to let off steam: E-cars, carousel, maze, bouncy castle, mini golf, an extensive animal park and one of the largest coffee pot collections in the world are waiting to be discovered - and all with free admission.
